ROCK THE RED PUMP!

March 10th is the National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day. In honor of this day of awareness women across the nation will be wearing Red pumps to show support for this cause. If you don't have red pumps, wear red boots, red sandals, red flats or red sneakers. Whatever you decide to wear on your feet, you need to have in your mind that this day of awareness is detrimental to our young girls and women. **It's a nationwide initiative to bring awareness to the increasing impact of HIV/AIDS on women & girls and encourages ladies to take action. Women represent 27% of all new AIDS diagnoses, with African-American women accounting for 66% of that group.** This is a statistic to definitely cause you to stop and think about how this is affecting women.

Please support this cause and wear your RED PUMPS! And spread the word, I am!
